Azerbaijan is the worst place to be for LGBTIQ

The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association lists the country in last place in a ranking of the situation of LGBTI people in 49 countries. Protests against the Azerbaijani regime are repeatedly violently suppressed by the police. We spoke to Alex from the Voice of Petukh group about the situation on the ground. Alex lives in Baku and campaigns for the visibility and rights of queer people there.
